The Education and Community Precinct | Danala, Charles Darwin University’s (CDU) City Campus, is a key part of the Darwin City Deal, bringing together the Australian and Northern Territory Governments and CDU to achieve a shared vision for Darwin’s Central Business District. Read more here.

The Australian Government has contributed $97.3 million to the $250 million campus project, and the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) has provided a $151.5 million loan.

The CDU City Campus is co-named Danala, which means dillybag, with Larrakia Nation.

It will feature learning and teaching areas, an interactive theatre room and an open plan workshop space; and be the home of the CDU Library, CDU Art Gallery, NT Library, and Territory FM.
