Yes. In addition to lifts and ramps for access, there are quiet spaces available too.

The building will be accessible via a staff or student card after hours.
What parking is available on campus?
There are two underground carparks that will be operational in early 2025.
Is there a space to store bikes?
Yes, there is a bike shed in the basement car park.
Will there be security on campus?
Yes, there is a security presence on campus.
Security will be available to escort people a reasonable distance off the premises if required.
What floors do the public have access to?
The general public can enjoy all outdoor facilities and those found on Levels 1 and 2, including the half basketball court, table tennis tables, exercise bikes, CDU Library, Library & Archives NT, and CDU Art Gallery.
Is there public transportation nearby?
Several bus routes operate close to the campus.
The nearest bus stop can be found across the road outside the Woolworths.
Are there spaces available for public events or private bookings?
Yes. Our Festival Learning and Community Learning spaces will be available from late November for commercial venue hire.

Can I bring my own food and drink onto campus?
Food and drink is not permitted indoors. You can bring your own food and drink to the outdoor spaces. Just remember to dispose of your containers and leftover food in the appropriate rubbish bin.
What outdoor facilities are available?
The forecourt boasts an array of outdoor facilities, including a basketball half court, exercise bikes, table tennis tables, benches and seating, spaces for food trucks, and cool green shaded areas.
Please bring your own equipment to use the basketball half court and table tennis tables.
Is the building child friendly?
Yes, the ECP is a child-friendly space. Children accompanied by a parent or guardian are welcome.

Are there special-purpose rooms available?
There are a range of special-purpose rooms to be found on campus, including a multi-faith room, a family room, accessible toilets, and adult changing facilities.

How do I become a member of the CDU Library as a non-student?
All members of the public are welcome to use the library space and access the print collection.
To join the library, we’ll need proof of your residential address, photo ID and a current email address.
Please visit the CDU Library service desk to complete an application form and collect your borrower card.
Is Wi-Fi available in the building?
Free Wi-Fi is available on campus during operating hours.
Are pets allowed on the premises?
No, pets are not allowed on the premises except for certified therapy and service animals.
